小中学生の英語サイト英楽 
こんにちは。今回はIt is～to・・・の構文について書いておきます。最後に日本語訳と英作文の問題をおいてあるので挑戦してみてください。
基本の形
It is 形容詞 to 動詞の原形 …
意味は
「…することは (形容詞) です」
という形になります。
例文
It is important to study English.
英語を勉強することは大切です。
It is difficult to get up early.
早起きすることは難しいです。
この「It」は本当の意味をあまり持たない「形式主語」と呼ばれる it です。
同じ意味で、to 不定詞を前に出すこともできます。
To study English is important.
It is important to study English.
どちらも
「英語を勉強することは大切です」
という意味ですが、中学では「It is 〜 to …」の形の方がよく使われます。
- It is easy to … …するのは簡単だ
- It is hard / difficult to … …するのは難しい
- It is interesting to … …するのはおもしろい
- It is dangerous to … …するのは危険だ
誰にとって難しいのか，誰にとって大切なのかを追加したい場合は形容詞の後にfor人を追加します。
例
It is difficult for me to speak English.
私にとって英語を話すことは難しいです。
It is important for you to study English.
あなたにとって英語を勉強することは大切です。
形：It is 形容詞 for 人 to 動詞
「人にとって～することは…だ」という意味になります。
- It is 形容詞 to 動詞 …
→ 「…することは 形容詞だ」という意味 - 「for 人」を入れると「その人にとって」という意味になる
次の英文を日本語に訳しなさい。
問題
1：It is easy to read this book.
2：It is interesting to watch movies.
3：It is hard for me to cook dinner.
4：It is important for us to help each other.
5：It is dangerous to swim in this river.
- この本を読むことは簡単です。
- 映画を見ることはおもしろいです。
- 私にとって夕食を作ることは大変です。
- 私たちにとってお互いを助け合うことは大切です。
- この川で泳ぐことは危険です。
次の日本語を英語に訳しなさい。
問題
1：英語を勉強することは大切です。
2：早起きすることは難しいです。
3：彼にとって英語を話すことは簡単です。
4：私にとって自転車で学校に行くことは楽しいです。
5：ここでサッカーをすることは危険です。
- It is important to study English.
- It is difficult to get up early.
- It is easy for him to speak English.
- It is fun for me to go to school by bike.
- It is dangerous to play soccer here.
※ fun のところは interesting でもだいたい同じ気持ちの意味になります。
